The natural environment that runs around Vista Alegre and Sierra Gorda will be filled with runners next January 8 for a good cause, raise funds for two associations that fight against diabetes and cancer.
The first Vista Alegre-Sierra Gorda Trail is organized by the association A rabo sacao, Mudos Trail and Vista Alegre Trail Club with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, among other institutions.
The person in charge of presenting this event was the Councilor for Sports of the City of Cartagena, Ricardo Segado, today, December 15, in the reception hall of the Palace Hall.
The mayor has been accompanied by the representative of A rabo sacao, German Pena;
Juan Esparza of Vista Alegre Trail and Luis Miguel Martínez de Mudos Trail.
Ricardo Segado stressed the solidarity of this test whose benefits will go, according to the councilman, to people who really need it, in this case to the society of Diabetes of Cartagena Sodicar and the Spanish association Against Cancer.
TECHNICAL DATA
The absolute test will start at 10:00 am from the public school Carthago and will have a tour of 16.5 km with a 600-meter positive slope.
As of 9:45 hours there will be another 5-kilometer course and 155 meters of positive gradient, as well as a non-competitive hiker test of 8 kilometers and 180-meter difference at 9:00 am.
There will also be tests for children with a non-competitive character, one of 500 meters for children between 8 and 10 years and another for children between 11 and 14 years old.
All participants will have a gift from the organization.
