Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena has denounced during last week to 46 people by consumption of alcohol in the public street, in the streets Marango, Escipión, Park of Windmill, Cantarerias and surroundings of the Place Juan XXIII.
Two establishments were also denounced for the sale of alcohol to minors.
All these interventions have been carried out by the Citizen Security Units to avoid alcohol consumption on public roads.
From Local Police it has been detected that based on this type of actions, alcohol is no longer consumed in the Pza de las Tres Culturas.
Of the total number of complaints filed by the agents, 16 of them have been made to minors, so that the procedure will, in addition to proceeding to the pecuniary fine, inform the parents or guardians of the minor.
It should be remembered that the implementation of these actions, even if they have a preventive nature, according to the legislation, anyone who consumes alcohol on public roads can be denounced with fines of up to 600 euros.
In addition, the agents denounced seven people for urinating on the public highway, assuming this action an infraction to the Urban Cleaning Ordinance.
