The details of this Year of the Enlightenment, as well as the logo that will announce it throughout the city, have been presented by the mayor of Cartagena, José López, and the councilman of the Area of ​​Heritage and Culture, Ricardo Segado, Francisco Calderón, Obdulia Gómez and David Martínez;

The 30th anniversary of the birth of Carlos III, one of the most representative figures of Spanish illustration, will be the starting point of the events that will last for a whole year, and which will take place on January 20th.
