On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the Councilor for Social Services and Social Media, Carmen Martín, delivered an electric articulated bed on Thursday, December 1, to the Torre de Nazaret association of the San Pedro Asylum Shop.
The aim is for this bed to be used by HIV-infected patients in bedside situations.
The president of the association was in charge of receiving this donation, in the presence of the residents, who thanked the delivery gesture.
Likewise, due to the proximity to the Christmas season, a high quality steel pot of 150 liters capacity has been donated to the supportive dining room of Caritas Jesús maestro and pastor to make it easier to attend to the people who come to it.
The gift was received by the director of the Coordinating Center of Caritas Cartagena, Francisco Montesino, in the presence of the kitchen team and volunteer who serve the food service.
Our objective is to help in all we can to the associations and groups of the region and, with these donations, we pretend to make them easier their day to day, explained the Councilor of Social Services, Carmen Martín.
