The mayor, José López, held a meeting this morning with businessmen from Singapore who are carrying out different working meetings in Cartagena and other cities of the country.
Specifically, he has interviewed West Community Council President Andrew Chua and SME Care Pte Ltd Director Wei Jiea Chua.
During the meeting, which took place at the Palace Hall, the first mayor has expressed the municipal will to collaborate with businessmen in those issues that have repercussions for the benefit of the city.
Andrew Chua, an entrepreneur also linked to the Government of Singapore, is a member of the Board of Directors of Lum Chang Holding, a company specialized in construction, infrastructures and hotel sector that is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
For its part, Wei Jiea Chua, through SME Care Pte Ltd, specializes in the financial and entrepreneurial sector globally.
Lopez has transmitted to Andrew Chua and Wei Jiea Chua investment possibilities that Cartagena represents in various areas such as tourism, which may be of interest to these investors.
In the same way, different options of collaboration and involvement in projects of interest for the municipality have been approached.
