The association of Alzheimer's patients from Cartagena AFAL does not want to be forgotten and for this purpose has organized a solidarity concert, in collaboration with the Cartagena City Council and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, to raise funds for the aid and research of This pathology.
The Cartagena group Stolen will be in charge of putting the musical note in this concert that will take place on Friday, December 16, at the Auditorium of the UPCT at 18:30 hours.
The Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez, presented today, November 29, this solidarity event accompanied by the manager of AFAL Cartagena, Raul Nieto and the guitarist of the group Stolen, Santi Campillo.
The mayor stressed the commitment of the government team to support these solidarity causes.
In addition, Martinez has encouraged the Cartagena to attend this concert to enjoy good music and contribute to a good cause.
For his part, Raal Nieto, head of AFAL, commented that the money raised will go to continue the non-pharmacological therapy used by AFAL to try to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
