Last April 2016 the Athlete Cartagenero Andrés Lledó completed a personal challenge consisting of crossing Costa Rica running for 400Km over 7 stages for 8 days, assisted by a team of nine people, to cover the athlete and record a Documentary that collected the sporting challenge, and leave a record of the beauty of the country and its people.
Throughout the challenge called The Path of the Conquerors, and organized by the company Jimbofresh, various cooperation activities were carried out with local schools: deliveries of school material, sports equipment and talks in educational and social centers, establishing a Dialogue about the values ​​of sport, the importance of education, studies and above all the importance of solidarity and being able to see the world as a diverse and plural scenario where we can all live together.
This documentary will be screened next Wednesday, November 30 at 12:00 in the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, located in the Old Navy Hospital of Cartagena.
The event will attend different Institutes of Education of Cartagena that have collaborated with the challenge to donate about 100 kg of school material that was donated in Costa Rica.
The event will be attended by Andrés Lledó, athlete protagonist of the Challenge, the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado;
Juan Manuel Molina, president of the Athletics Federation of Murcia and Olympic Athlete, accompanied by other authorities, the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena and the General Director of Jimbofresh International, Miguel Ángel Jiménez Bosque.
The event will be open until full capacity for anyone who wants to get closer to knowing first hand what this adventure was.
