The associations of majors of Cartagena have received today, November 28, the agreements that collect the subsidies that have granted them the City council of Cartagena.
In total they have been allocated an amount that amounts to 64,100 euros and will be distributed among 39 associations and the Federation of Associations of Older People of Cartagena.
This money will go to the associations to develop their activities and defray the costs of maintaining the clubs.
The act of delivery of the agreements that collect these subsidies has been presided over by the mayor of Cartagena, José López.
The first mayor has been accompanied by the Councilor for the Quality of Life Area, Francisco Calderón, by the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín;
As well as by the president of the Federation of Associations of Elderly People of Cartagena, Maria Beteta and the representatives of the rest of associations.
These agreements are in addition to those already granted to forty-five Social Action entities to carry out their projects in the area of ​​Social Services, and have also been awarded by competitive bidding.
