The Algar celebrated last Saturday at the Civic Center a fair in which a dozen associations met, to publicize the wide variety of activities they carry out throughout the year.
This is the first time that this initiative has been launched and the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, did not want to lose the opportunity to know firsthand the work that the neighbors of El Algar are developing.
Castejón came accompanied by the Interior Councilor, Francisco Aznar, and the mayor of Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, who attended the activities of the afternoon.
There, more than a hundred people participated in a day of coexistence that began at eleven in the morning with a cycle route organized by AlgarBike, a yoga class, workshop of plates and a demonstration of bolillo by the association Amas de House, followed by a demonstration of salsa and a kitchen workshop.
After that a guided tour to the Las Matildes Mine was scheduled.
In the afternoon, a theater workshop for children and adults was organized by the Apollo Theater School;
And a game of voleyball between Algar SurMenor and Voley Murcia in the municipal Pavilion.
The activities finished with a concert of the group Gemini and great castle of fireworks.
