Brother Isidoro Macías popularly known as "Father Patera", visited this morning the municipal facilities that the "Hope Group" has in the Urbanization Mediterranean.
Brother Isidoro wanted to know up close, the work that volunteer work with the most disadvantaged children in the city.
The President of the Esperanza Group of the International Association of Charity Saint Vincent de Paul explained to Father Patera the work they do with these children, who are given daily breakfast, snacks, and in the afternoon, support School and snack.
Brother Isidoro Macías, accompanied by the President of Cartagena for Charity, Matías Barco and the Vice President Isabel Mota, participated in the breakfasts with the youngest, showing himself delighted to be able to live in the first person the important task that the Group's volunteering Hope develops with these children.
Recall that Father Patera will receive tomorrow, the "Award to Charity" awarded by the Charitable Association of Cartagena for Charity for the humanitarian work that has been developing for more than 50 years.
At the Gala to be held in the Auditorium El Batel, at 19:00 hours, will also receive this award Father Angel Garcia, President of the Foundation Messengers of Peace and Friends of Honduras Cartagena.
Subsequently, an extraordinary concert will be held by the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, which will be directed by the Principal Director, Virginia Martínez.
Tickets for this Gala are on sale in the Corte Ingles de Murcia and Cartagena, at a price of € 15, € 12 and € 10, and the benefits will go to the local Board of AECC in Cartagena, Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases and Alzheimer's Association of Cartagena and Comarca.
Father Patera and Father Angel will also participate in the Eucharist organized by the Cartagena Association for Charity in the Church of San Pablo, located at C / Juan de la Cueva, 9, Cartagena (Station sector), at 11:30 am and will be sung by the Choir of Ntro.
