The Council of Social Services and the clubs of elderly people will defray the expenses of a cultural trip to Granada for a group of 22 young people who have participated in the project of Youth Prevention in Drug addiction, which ended last September.
The Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín del Amor, visited the premises of the association Rascasa in Los Mateos yesterday, Wednesday 23 November, to give them the money with which they will subsidize this trip.
The mayor was accompanied by the president of the Federation of Clubs of Seniors of Cartagena, Maria Beteta, as well as members of the boards of the Senior Clubs of La Aljorra and Molinos Marfagones.
With the support of Rascasa technicians, the group of young people continues to gather and develop activities, such as the trip to Granada that will take place next December.
The group of elders, knowing how important it was for this group of 22 young people was to make the trip, has contributed the money raised at the last Feria de Mayores in Heroes of Cavite.
During the visit to their facilities, the young people explained their activities with the association Rascasa, after which they offered a small recital of music, accompanied by palms, drawer and dance.
