On Monday, November 21, the mayor of Cartagena, José López, attended the inauguration of the workshops on awareness and training in universal accessibility, organized by CERMI, ONCE Foundation and ACS Foundation, under the title Designing Cities and Villages for All people.
A title that, according to the mayor, says everything, although society does not always want to see the importance of what minorities contribute to it, everyone has and must work for equality, removing barriers to convert our environment of coexistence in Something more just and humane, and to achieve this company we must join forces.
In the opening ceremony, which took place at 9:30 am in the Museum of Modern Art of the Region of Murcia (MURAM), in the Palace of Aguirre, have also intervened the director general of Cultural Property, Maria Comas;
The president of CERMI of the Region of Murcia, Pilar Morales;
And the president of the ONCE Territorial Council of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Lajarín.
