The Auditorium of the Conservatory Narciso Yepes de Lorca witnessed the last concert of the promotional cycle of the Competition Between Strings and Metals, organized by the Council of Youth of the City of Cartagena and the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.
The winners of the previous call of the contest played different pieces as soloists accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena, directed this time by Andrés Pérez Bernabé.
Each of the soloists dazzled in this auditorium the numerous attending public, who enjoyed the intervention of these young talents.
In addition, the concert of Lorca counted on the performance of two of the students that currently are studying in the Conservatory of Music of Murcia "Manuel Massotti", David Cano Terrones, guitar and Francisco Diaz Hernández, trombone.
The program was completed by Arturo Abellán Sánchez, a young pianist who, with just 14 years of age, has debuted as a soloist in different venues not only in the Region of Murcia but also in the country and in different countries, as well as receiving numerous prizes (he is currently studying 2Âş of professional degree in the Conservatory of Caravaca);
And Gonzalo Pineda González, first prize in the percussion modality, and that is continuing its formation in the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.
This closes the three three concerts belonging to the cycle of promotional concerts of Between Strings and Metals, bringing the talent of the participants of the previous edition to each of its stages.
