The councilor of the area of ​​Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, along with the municipal coordinator of Historical and Archaeological Heritage, Maria del Carmen Berrocal, will be cited next Monday with the most representative groups in matters of tangible and intangible heritage of the city.
The meeting was articulated to provide the groups with a channel for the presentation of initiatives in which they reflect their scale of priorities, while being informed, through the mayor and the coordinator, about the main lines of action of the municipal government In this matter.
The meeting is called the Association of Defense of Historical Heritage (DAPHNE);
The Monte Miral association;
The Virgen de la Caridad Citizen Platform;
The association of Friends of the Monastery of San Ginés de la Jara;
The Windlass Coordinator;
The Patrimony Defense Association (ADEPA);
Convergencia Cívica, Cartagena of my soul, and the Association of the Friends of the Castles and Fortresses of Cartagena (AFORCA).
Also attend the four official chroniclers of Cartagena: Luis Miguel Perez Adán, Jose Sánchez Conesa, Francisco Jose Franco Fernandez and Juan Ignacio Ferrández García.
According to Ricardo Segado, the meeting seeks to "give voice to all those who have something to say about heritage in our city.
The will of this Government has always been to foster spaces for dialogue with those people and groups that seek the same objective.

Beyond the possibility given to collectives and individuals to show their preferences with participatory budgets, this new measure focused on giving voice to the municipal management of groups is designed to work systematically and complementarily with the agents involved in the matter.
In this way, it is intended to establish a coordinated work in the present and future challenges of the great heritage of Cartagena, with deposits and constructions such as the Molinete, Monte Sacro, Plaza de la Merced, Amphitheater, Cathedral, Windmills, as well as Those referred to intangible heritage, with care for traditions and folklore.
