The Cultural and Sports Center of La Palma has once again called the Flor de las Naciones de Cartagena and the National Young Poetry Contest in honor of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
With different prizes and themes, the works can be sent until January 27, 2017 and the winners can collect their prizes in the month of March.
The XLIV Floral Games of the Field of Cartagena in La Palma will recognize with a prize of 1300 euros and Flower Natural to the best poetry on the subject "Windmills", with a minimum extension of 75 verses and maximum of 175.
Papers will be sent in six copies, typed in single-sided and double-spaced forms, and will be submitted without signature, in a spreadsheet containing the author's name, address, telephone number, copy of the DNI and title of the work.

As for the XXIII National Young Poetry Contest, organized in collaboration by the AMPA of the IES Carthago Spartaria, it distinguishes two categories: from 12 to 14 years with a diploma prize and 300 euros, and a second category from 15 to 18 years with a Prize of 600 euros and diploma.
Each winner will receive books from the editions of the Floral Games of the Campo de Cartagena.
The texts presented, with a creative character, must be original and unpublished in Spanish.
The subject is free, with a minimum length of 14 verses and a maximum of 100. Papers will be presented in triplicate, written or typed on one side without signature.
In a sealed envelope will include a title with work, name and surnames of author, address and telephone and, where appropriate, study center, course and photocopy of ID, stating the category in which they participate.

In both cases, the works will be sent to the Secretary of the Cultural and Sports Center at Ignacio Aznar Street, 2, 30593 La Palma, stating in the envelope "For the XLIV Edition of Florist Games of the Field of Cartagena" or "For XXIII National Young Poetry Contest ", according to the call.
