The Auditorium and Congress Center El Batel, celebrated the night of Tuesday, November 15, the fifth anniversary of its opening, in November 2011.
Invited to all Cartagena, he held a free gala attended by the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor of Festivities, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the Councilor for Culture, David Martinez.
The gala of the V anniversary of El Batel consisted of an eclectic show of classical and contemporary choreographies created and executed by the National Dance Company, directed by the cartagenero José Carlos Martínez.
Choreographies like Diana and Acteón or Don Quixote, with music of Rachmaninov;
The Corsair, a pas de deux with music by Riccardo Drigo;
The Swan, based on the choreography of Nureyev;
And Claroscuro, with music of Phillip Glass, they delighted to the cartageneros and authorities that came.
