Elena Ruiz emphasized that Cartagena has already accumulated a long experience in the integration of the archaeological remains in the present city, we bet that the collaboration between the Council of Culture and the city council of Cartagena channel the archaeological excavation, the integration of the vestiges and its Coexistence with the recovery of the Llagostera House, one of the most valuable examples of modernist architecture offered by the city, he said.

It has also appealed to the cooperation between the Public Administrations in the search of funds that allow the value of the remains.

The popular deputy has said that in recent years the municipality of Cartagena has been endowed with legal instruments for urban planning and planning, such as the Plan for Protection and Management of the Old Town, which facilitate the coexistence between the modern city and the old, this Plan contemplates the necessary measures of compensation to guarantee the conservation of the remains and that, at the same time, does not stop the restoration of the building.
