The mayor of Cartagena, Jos� L�pez, received the president and the director of the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena (JOSCT), �lvaro Valdesueiro and �lvaro Pintado, respectively, at the Palace Hall.

At the end of the meeting, the president of the JOSCT, �lvaro Valdesueiro, has indicated some of the issues treated with L�pez as the work developed jointly between the City and the Young Orchestra to find a venue suitable for their needs,

The next meeting to be held with Youth Councilor, Ricardo Segado, to study ways of collaboration in the area of ​​subsidy;

The possibility of making a recording of the Anthem of Cartagena or the celebration of a contest of young orchestras that move the culture in Cartagena.

In addition, both Valdesueiro and Pintado have invited Jos� L�pez to the Christmas concert that the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena will offer at the Auditorium and Congress Hall of El Batel on December 28.

YOUNG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OF CARTAGENA

On 17 July, the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena held its inaugural concert at the paraninfo of the Universidad Polit�cnica de Cartagena, an event that was attended by the mayor, reaffirming the institutional support for this initiative.

Currently, the Young Orchestra has sixty musicians, ranging in age from 28 to 35, with 80% of its natural components in Cartagena.
