The Popular Party will demand to the administrations their commitment so that the established deadlines are fulfilled and the implementation of the Area of ​​Logistic Activities in Cartagena becomes a reality as soon as possible.

In this sense, the President of the Popular Party, Joaquin Segado, has described as a "very important step" the constitution of the working table of the Logistics Activities Zone, "today we are moving forward with a firm step towards the implementation of the ZAL Of Cartagena, with the implication of administrations and economic, industrial and transport agents ".

For Segado, "Cartagena and its region need this infrastructure that will allow the economic development and the generation of employment. For this, it is necessary that all the agents involved participate in the planning of a strategy that allows to promote this system of intermodal transport of goods , Which meets the regional and port logistics needs ".

The president of the PP stressed that "Cartagena is the main industrial pole of the Region of Murcia, and together with infrastructure such as the AVE, Mediterranean Corridor and Port will consolidate the municipality as a strategic first class. These infrastructures that our municipality needs and we will work so that the companies settle in this future logistics zone ".
