The Local Police of the City of Cartagena has celebrated Monday, November 14, its patron San Leandro.
At 11 o'clock in the morning the traditional mass was celebrated in San Fulgencio, and at 12:30 a institutional event took place in the Security Park, where there have been speeches and distinctions have been given to the agents and plates Of recognition to retired police officers.
The day, which was presided over by the mayor, José López, accompanied by the councilor of the Interior and Security Area, Francisco Aznar, and the head of the Local Police, Eusebio Serna, has concluded with a wine of honor, from The 13:30 hours in The Lady of Gold.
Among the civil and military authorities present were the Marine Admiral, Manuel de la Puente, and the chief prosecutor of the Superior Court of Justice of the Autonomous Community, Manuel López Bernal.
Before the institutional act the mayor has passed for the first time magazine in the Security Park to a section of patrol cars and a training of agents, accompanied by the councilman of security and the head of the local police.
At the ceremony have been delivered the congratulations of the Governing Board to two agents and plaques of recognition for the services provided to the six policemen who have retired during the last year.
