The club organizer of the event, the Moto Club of Cartagena, founded in 1955, celebrates with this new edition its 60 years of existence.
The race, which had a large influx of public, consisted of a simulation of 600 meters urban circuit, which crossed Pez Street, the Plaza de la Isla, Paseo Alfonso XII, to return to Calle Pez.
It was divided by categories according to the displacement, from 125 to 250 cc, and another of more than 250 cc, along with a category for Vespas.
A vintage PTV microcar (fully Spanish brand) served as safety car, recognizing the terrain before the races.
The parking lot of the Casa del Mar became Sunday in a Cartagena paddock.
There the attendees could enjoy the environment biker walking the tents and taking pictures with pieces in restoration or the motorcycles themselves that participated in the races.
Particular attention was paid to the safety of both the participants and the attending public, limiting the circuit with tires and bales of straw in the tightest corners, which in addition to protecting, set the circuit by evoking the old editions, which scored for the championship Of Spain and in which competed figures like the bad one Ricardo Tormo, 7 times champion of Spain in 50 cc, or the same Angel Nieto, 13 times champion of the world.
