The residents of the neighborhood of Virgen de la Caridad will present on Sunday November 13 at 11:00 am, on the esplanade of the Port of Cartagena, all the resources that the neighborhood has to improve their quality of life and social welfare: Associations, NGOs, companies, etc.
Among those attending will be the Mayor of Cartagena, José López, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, Councilor for Decentralization and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín, and Councilor for Culture, David Martinez.
There will be associations of the elderly, Abraham Project, La Huertecica Collective, Accem, Caritas San Leandro, La Palmera, Red Cross, etc.
Supported by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, the Port Authority, and the Departments of Social Services, Youth, and Citizen Participation, Decentralization and Festivities.
To enliven this neighborhood meeting there will be a ballroom workshop, a rondalla, the Virgen Caridad choir, the choreographic group Renacer, and the musical group ACCEM, giving Sunday morning the musical touch of this celebration.
In turn, visitors will be offered gastronomic tastings and music typical of Morocco.
They will also offer the residents of Virgen de la Caridad as an attraction for all Cartagena, exhibitions of vintage vehicles such as Seat 600, Vespa motorcycles, classic Volkswagen, campervan.
For children who accompany their parents, a children's area with inflatables, makeup workshops, recycling, and sports activities, which will delight the little ones.
