Recently, it was a year since the proclamation of Antonio Martínez (MC) as the new president of the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores.

In her work team, in addition, another representative of the formation cartagenerista, the vocal Maria Bernarda Ferrer was integrated.

Martínez has continued, from its competence, to the established policy of optimization of resources and effective work imposed since the arrival of José López (MC) to the mayor of Cartagena.

Also through the search of the greater degree of consensus and the implication of the agents involved to join forces in the pursuit of the objective sought, making participation one of its main lines of action.

In reference to the day-to-day management of the Neighborhood Board, it is worth noting the high degree of execution of the budget allocated for this year (170,000 euros), with actions already taken and others under way.

Thus, with regard to the chapter on repairs in infrastructure and buildings (which requires a greater budget line), the work to be undertaken in the remodeling and maintenance of Plaza Angel Valverde stands out;

The Plaza of the Church of Los Dolores;

The Plaza Puerto Rico, or the suitability of the children's play area in Exploradores Square (Barriada Hispanoamérica).

Other actions have also been carried out to improve the asphalting and the cleaning and painting of the facade of the social area of ​​Los Dolores.

Another of the largest budget lines has been allocated for investments in infrastructure and works.

In this way, the fence of the sports court of the Plaza Infanta Cristina has been installed;

Has been equipped with children's games to the Colegio San Cristobal de El Bohío, in addition to earmarking more than 11,000 euros for the installation of street lighting in the Arab street.

The rest of the budget has been allocated to the maintenance of parks and gardens, as well as to serve the different groups that operate in Los Dolores in order to contribute to the different objectives raised by the entities.

In short, MC, through Antonio Martínez, has transferred to Los Dolores the imprint of serious, honest, structured and rigorous work that governs the City of Cartagena since the arrival to the mayor's office of José López.
