The quartering of Tentegorra has hosted another year the presentation of the Cross of Artillery, a sporting event open to military and civilian personnel, organized by the Artillery Regiment No. 73 in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.

The event, held at 12 o'clock, was presided over by the Colonel's chief of the Regiment, José Luis Carbonell Navarro, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado;

The director general of Sports of the Region of Murcia, Alonso Gómez López;

And the technical director of the test and major corporal, Bernardo Domínguez Vega.

Born in 2002 as a celebration of the second centenary of the creation of the Regiment, this 15th edition of the Cross of Artillery, which will take place on Sunday, November 20, will tour the centric streets of Cartagena with races of multiple categories: 1/4 mile Children aged 0-7;

1/4 mile for children 7-9 years;

Mile (1609 meters);

Canicross (5000 meters), for dogs accompanied by their masters;

Urban cross (6000 meters);

And the race that reaches the Christmas Lighthouse of Cartagena (14000 meters).

All tests will come from Alfonso XII and will be properly marked with banners every 1000 meters.

As a novelty of this year, the Artillery Cross Sport Association collaborates with ASTUS and PROLAM, whose members will collaborate in logistics tasks of the races themselves, distributing backs, in the victualling, etc.

Continuing with this inclusive spirit, a Joëlette, a special chair will also be provided for the race so that people with reduced mobility, accompanied by four other runners, can carry out the race.
