The Councilor for Health, Francisco Calderon, attended this morning to the constituent meeting of the Health Council of Area II in an event held in the room Luis Calandre Hospital of St. Lucia.
The council, chaired by the Area II manager, José Sedes, counts on the participation of the municipalities of Cartagena, La Unión, Fuente Álamo and Mazarrón;
Trade union and business representatives;
Patient and patient associations;
Neighborhood associations;
volunteering;
Citizen entities such as the Platform in Defense of Public Health;
Professional colleges;
Scientific societies, etc.
During the first meeting of the Council, in addition to focusing on the development of regulations that regulate its operation, the creation of a follow-up commission of the Hospital of Our Lady of Rosell has been addressed.
The council was created with the intention of becoming a vehicle for channeling and discussing proposals, while being a tool for monitoring the different integrated services in public health care.
