The People's University held on Friday, November 4 a series of educational activities aimed at introducing street all its educational and cultural offer to Cartagena, in collaboration with one of the popularizers, the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
Entitled The People's University are tod @ s, information leaflets were distributed with the offer of the UP, books Poetry Prize Antonio Oliver, engravings poet Jose Hierro and other gifts of the institution.
The event, held in the Plaza de San Sebastián, was to the premiere of a documentary that illustrates how the People's University on a movie screen placed for the occasion, a video of four minutes, with a lot of rhythm and a certain charm to show the dimension of the UP, what are its workshops and classes, how are students and faculty, as well as the different events that have already taken place this year, according to the director of the People's University, José Macián.
In addition, between 19.30 and 20.30 hours, he performed the dance academy Margarita Amante, with various numbers of modern dance.
The director, José Macián said that the goal of this event is that the UP continues to grow.
We are highly motivated and want to continue in the gap.
Our goal is that the People's University continues to grow and regain its prestige in the city.
