The Local Government Board, which met this morning, under the chairmanship of Mayor, Jose Lopez, has given its approval to the commitment to include in the draft budget 2017 a party of about 72 thousand euros for hiring a technical assistance the development of the necessary technical studies to request authorization of discharges into the sea and the administrative concession of maritime public domain land outfall of the sewage treatment plant of the Mar Menor Sur, located in Cabo de Palos.
As explained by the mayor and Town Planning and Infrastructure, José López, it is to perform all legal formalities necessary to pour through this treatment plant remains brine farms and solve one of the causes of pollution del Mar Menor.
