The employability of civil engineers, channels and ports, university-company, or how to make this attractive engineering for high school students are some of the issues discussed today by the directors of all schools of Civil Engineering, Channels and ports of Spanish public universities.
Those responsible for the centers have met Friday at the Polytechnic of Cartagena to discuss the future of the degree.
At this annual meeting was attended by the rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Diaz and national president of the College of Civil Engineering, Channels and Ports, Juan Antonio Santamera.
Attendees discussed how globalization affects the career prospects of these engineers.
All attendees are committed to promoting vocations of young people and establish a common strategy of promoting and disseminating the profession.
