A talk and a workshop expand the knowledge on democratic cities and citizen participation (03/11/2016)

Democratic cities and citizen participation is the title of the talk-colloquium to be held this Friday, November 4, in the classroom José Hierro Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy at 20:00.

This event is included in the schedules Read, think, imagine and Cartagena thinks the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena has organized for this quarter.

The informative activity borne by the journalist and writer Bernardo Navarro, while Gabriel Navarro, psychologist and Youth technician will be responsible for presenting the event.

The conference and subsequent discussion will focus on the premise that new media make available to the public tools that allow them to participate in co-creating the city, notably expanding the limits of what it means to be residents of a community.

Where the emergence of new social movements demanding more transparency and citizen involvement constitutes a serious platform game.

Are we willing to participate in a new collective framework starring their narratives?

In this line, self Bernardo Gutierrez will be responsible for delivering the Saturday, October 5th, a workshop process and tools of participation and co-creation of the city of open source.
