The Cultural November Aljorra, also known as the Theatre Festival and Culture Campo de Cartagena which this year celebrates its twenty-first edition, started its activities last weekend presenting the varied cultural and sports program which will run until December 13th.
Organized by the Neighborhood Association Aljorra collaboration with the City of Cartagena, the Neighborhood Council and other associations and companies in the area, the Cultural Nov. intended that the residents of La Aljorra and other populations have a wide choice of entertainment in this population, enjoying most activities free or at popular prices way to bring entertainment and culture to all residents.
The presentation of activities took place on Saturday, October 29, at a ceremony attended by the Councillor of Celebration, Juan Pedro Torralba, Councilwoman Portal and Accountability Office, Maria Jose Soler and councilor of the municipal group citizens, Alfredo Nieto Paredes, and members of the neighborhood, directives Associations and neighbors in general.
Residents Association explained in this presentation the opportunity of the public participation process that the City of Cartagena has opened for neighbors decide they spend half the money spent on infrastructure.
The event featured a performance of the Musical Union Cartagonova group and craft shows Pepi Carrion, besides enjoying a snack attendees.
At midnight, a costume party themed Halloween in New Paddock, and Sunday 30 Civic Center featured a performance of Carlitos, with rice and tapas at reasonable prices took place.
The Cultural November has the social order to make cultural, educational, sports and leisure or free popular prices.
Until November 13, the theater will be the main attraction, with children's performances as The Pied Piper of Hamelin on Friday 4 or Rinconcete Cortadillo on Friday, 11, or other representations as The Academy, the theater group Diavolo Fuente Alamo or My Dear Plumber.
There will also be karaoke nights in New Paddock on 4 and 18 November, Reiki workshops and First Aid, a cultural trip to Lorca or monologues.
