Mahoo an "early startup" or emerging technology-based company created by the UPCT, won yesterday the first prize in the final of EU-XCEL in Munich, the European program to promote entrepreneurship among university students, in which He participates for two years the Polytechnic University of Cartagena through Cloud Incubator project.
Diego Alonso, Andrés Iborra and Andres Carrillo acted as mentors to four European academics who have been responsible to carry forward the winning idea.
His proposal is a dismantling company managed through a computer program with Big Data techniques.

The mentor team UPCT university advised throughout the process of creating the company and made available to its own platform developed by the University of Cartagena.
Mahoo was recognized yesterday in the final of the second edition of the EU-XCEL program as the best emerging company between one hundred international "startups".
UPCT also got two other business projects, called Gondolaa and Sprotify, were selected for the final phase of the competition held in the German city of Munich.
