First anti-rumor Youth Summit, which took place on 21,22 and 23 October in Sabadell, was attended by representatives of cities such as Sabadell own, Getxo, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Tenerife, Barcelona and, of course, Cartagena, all belonging to the Network of Intercultural Cities (RECI).
The celebration of the anti-rumor Youth Summit coincided with the celebration in this city of Mescla't program, spaces for coexistence, solidarity, cooperation and inclusion.
In the top 35 young people, aged between 15 and 18 years, and technicians from different entities and city councils involved in this action they participated.
The objectives of this meeting were to strengthen the incorporation of young people to the anti-rumor Strategy in each of the participating municipalities, providing attendees a space for participation and contact with different realities in which they can assume their role in building a free citizenship rumors.
The idea is to provide them with useful tools, strategies and proposals for further implementation at the local level and in connection with other mechanisms and strategies of the state and create a working group and monitoring of the strategy aimed at youth group.
FINDING A LOGO CONTEST
The City of Cartagena is working on the implementation of anti-rumor strategy, for which the Department of Social Services has taken a competition in order to find a logo that reflect the spirit of this project and the implications for cohesion social Cartagena.
The deadline for submitting proposals is October 31.
