The Palace Hall of Cartagena received this morning the visit of 18 Norwegian school students Amalie Skram VideregÃ¥ende Skole, during these days are making an exchange with students from IES Jiménez de la Espada.
The Councillor for Education, David Martinez, has been commissioned to welcome and accompany them to the Reception Room, where he welcomed them to the city and encouraged them to know a city with over 3,000 years of history, as is Cartagena, knowing not only its Roman monuments, but also the modernists.
The mayor thanked the work of teachers of these institutes who exchange, indicated that the City is always a joy to have centers like Espada make such projects.
David Martinez has invited students to enjoy the sea, landscapes, gastronomy and people of Cartagena, and make good friends in town who remember fondly the experience and speak well of Cartagena to return to their city.
Upon receipt, which has given them a gift to conserve his return to Bergen, they have made a tour of the Palace Hall, knowing its history and its functions.
18 Nordic students live together for a few days with young cartageneros of Secondary Education Espada in order to improve their knowledge in the Spanish language and establish links with the families of Cartagena.
