The Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena signed a collaboration agreement with the Socio-Cultural Association Teatro Circo Apolo El Algar for theatrical and musical performances ofrecerrepresentaciones, among others, in this landmark building.
Circus Apollo Theater is an architectural gem and the City has a responsibility to contribute to their conservation, which corresponds to the cultural association.
For this reason we will sign a cooperation agreement with the aim of helping, as we continue promoting cultural activities in our neighborhoods and county councils, said the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez Noguera.
The collaboration will continue for the next three years.
The first grant will be awarded 35,000 euros, and the remaining two, 40,000 euros each.
TheAssociation agrees to lease its facilities to the City Council in at least thirty days a year.
