On Friday October 14 at 18 pm, the councilor for the Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, and the Councillor of Finance, Isabel García, made delivery of 1165 euros to the Spanish Association Against Cancer Association and the Virgin of the homeless, in a ceremony held in the premises of the Association of residents of Santa Lucia.
This money was obtained with the collection 24 hours overlooking the sea, a social conference organized in June by the Socio Cultural Association St. James and St. Lucia Neighborhood Association, in collaboration the Department of Social Services City of Cartagena.
These 24 hours Watching the Sea were performed on 11 and 12 June at the esplanade of the Port, with stands of various associations, performances, tapas, exhibitions of cars, Vespa scooters and moterna concentration as well as a tasting of rice or cauldron among attendees.
