The portaeronaves amphibious ship "Juan Carlos I" and the frigate "Numancia" have planned a 24 hour layover in the port of Cartagena from 16 to 17 October.
The "Juan Carlos I" will remain docked the spring of Curra and "Numancia" Cruise on the pier.
During his stay in Cartagena, will open its doors to the public on Sunday 16 from 15.30 to 18.30.
The two ships are in transit to their base in Rota parking, after completing the exercises of the European Amphibious Initiative "Emerald Move 2016", in the waters of southern Sardinia.

A MULTI-PURPOSE
The "Juan Carlos I", with more than 27,000 tons displacement and 231 meters long, is the largest warship built in Spain.
