The revenue generated by ticket sales Festival La Mar de Musicas Cartagena have submitted first to the control of municipal intervention.
The Local Government Committee this morning approved the liquidation of income for this concept presented by the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez, amounting to 138,527.81 euros.
This amount will be used entirely to cover part of the costs of organizing the event.
So far the liquidation of box office revenue not passed by the municipal accounting, but directly applied to expenses that were paid without the control of the municipal intervention.
This regulates the municipal government considered an anomalous situation and endows legality and transparency required.
In this regard, the Board has also approved the liquidation of the same councilman of Culture on the box office of the show The Wizard of Oz, held this summer, which meant an income of 4,500 euros, which also will go cover the costs and cache this show.
