The Local Government Board approved the grant of another 9,700 euros two establishments in the city center that have benefited from the Plan to Support Investment in the Old Town (PAICA), launched from the area of ​​Strategy last Friday economic City of Cartagena.
This is a clothing store and beauty center, both located in San Fernando Street, which has been awarded 3,056 euros and 6,712.84 respectively.
In addition, a new entertainment venue, pending final approval, also it has been granted an aid of 10,000 euros.
In total, there are more than 29,700 euros which have been awarded within this aid package to revitalize the old town and stimulate trade.
Among them is a bakery, a clothing, a beauty and entertainment venue, located in the streets San Fernando, Four Saints and San Francisco.
In recent weeks they have received four new applications that are currently in process, one for the extension of a hotel establishment in Street Campos, a pharmacy on the street Serreta, installing a local hostelry on the street Honda and a clothing store on the street Tahona.
Deputy Mayor and Head of Economic Strategy of City Hall, Ana Belén Castejon, said that what we seek with this plan is to reactivate entire area of ​​the city and the number of applications being received is a sign that we are doing the Right.
Moreover, Castejon has highlighted new funding lines to be starting from next year.
