The six detainees were part of a criminal group, who had stolen from several homes in the towns of Corvera and Santomera, and diversified their criminal activities peddling marijuana.
Those arrested included a minor escaped from a detention center and another person claimed for his imprisonment.
They have recovered several jewels, which have not yet been recognized and researchers try to determine its origin.
The National Police has successfully completed "Operation Corvera", proceeding to the complete dismantling of an organized criminal group, specialized in stealing inside homes and the sale of narcotics and operating in the towns of Corvera and Santomera.
Research last September began when the Commissioner of the National Police in Cartagena, was aware of illegal placing on the market of a series of jewelry of unknown origin.
After conducting a thorough check of the allegations made in the region of Murcia, the researchers could see that some gems fully coincided with a complaint filed in the office of the Civil Guard in Santomera.
