The second deputy mayor and councilor of the Quality of Life, Health, Consumer Affairs and Environment, Francisco Jose Calderon, and the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin del Amor attended yesterday, October 3, at lainauguraron the Cultural Week Senior Club of Santa Ana residential estate, along with the president of the Federation of Associations of the Elderly, Maria Beteta, and the director of the Department of Social Services, Damián Pérez Olmos.
The presentation was also attended by all members of the Board of the Federation of Seniors, as well as numerous members of the Club who do not want to miss the start of a week full of activities designed especially for them.
Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, expressed the importance derespaldar older and promote initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of our seniors and ensure their leisure.
During this week many activities will take place, the club has organized with the collaboration of the Department of Social Services.
Among them include a talk on nutrition, championship games, contest pastry or the performance of choral residential estate of Santa Ana. The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday October 9, with the awards ceremony of all developed the championships and contests during the week.
