Councillor for Equality, David Martinez Noguera, met this morning with representatives of more than sixty women's associations across the region to prepare for the implementation of the Equality Council.

The mayor explained to the attendees that ten associations need to submit at least two volunteers each to form this body of participation that will be decisive in the drafting of the Equality Plan.

Also in this meeting David Martinez thanked the cooperation of women's associations, highlighting its high participation in all events organized by the Department of Equality.

He has also presented them the various workshops and courses, highlighting the commitment to the districts and councils that since the council is directing as well as Empowerment, which in just a week have received over a hundred requests.
