Last Tuesday, September 20, a working meeting in order to know the results of the social research on the neighborhood of San Anton and Mediterranean Urbanization in the delCentro units Socio, the former College took place on Cuco put into operation for groups in the area and professional teams of Social Services.
The research was presented by Claudia Carrasquilla and driven by the Cepaim Foundation under municipal funding, provides the results of the state of the neighborhood, and the perception of its neighbors and the proposed improvement made.
Similarly and through discussion groups the views of representatives of groups are collected.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, the Councillor for Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martin, the coordinator of Social Services, Damián Pérez Olmos, social workers, educators and officials of the Municipal Center for Social Services Cartagena II, which are attached both neighborhoods.
This report will serve the City of Cartagena to establish a global and transversal action plan, working together with representatives and social actors in the neighborhood.
In the near future a presentation will be made to different neighborhood representatives, institutions and other administrations, which has been developing its work in the territory, to give the results of the study and hear their suggestions for improvement.
