In that environment, the intersection of RM-311 with access to the industrial estate of La Palma "is one of the most contentious points in the area due to a high density of vehicular traffic, especially trucks, and an increasing use of the inhabitants of the environment for the movement of short and medium haul, "said Fernández Lladó.

The intensity of annual traffic records said road over a million trips, of which 73,000 are trucks and heavy vehicles.
