Last weekend the Ecuadorian community paid tribute to Our Lady of Chilla, patron saint of El Oro, and the Virgen del Cisne, patroness of Ecuador, with a set of acts that had the support of the Department of Social Services and Mediation social City of Cartagena.
The events, organized by the Blessed Association Virgen de Chilla, had as its central event a Mass in honor of the two virgins in the Church of the Immaculate Conception of La Aljorra, with floral offering to the patron, an act that was attended by the councilor for the Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, and the mayor of Finance, Isabel Garcia.
After the Mass, held a dance by dance group New Dawn and huma man in the Church Square, followed by the transfer in procession of images by different streets of the deputation of the Aljorra from the Plaza de la Iglesia finalizing the procession, in the premises assigned to the Association in Street Tristan de Luna.
There welcome the Blessed Virgin and the participants, by representatives of the Association, and a snack for all attendees, enlivened by the dance group New huma dawn and was made man.
Finally a popular dance and fireworks ended the tribute.
