Homemakers of El Algar showed their best culinary skills in the traditional culinary competition with already 33 editions.
First and second courses and desserts competed to delight the palate of a professional jury assessed the different recipes.
The XXXIII Gastronomic Competition was held on Tuesday, September 6, at Meson Restaurante Marin, Industrial Estate Camachos, and was attended by the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, and the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, who they enjoyed this event tradition in the festivities of El Algar in honor of the Virgen de Los Llanos.
In this new edition they highlighted the presentation and originality in the dishes and desserts, showing that from housewives year after year are exceeded.
The awards consisted of a lot for the winners, awarding first, second and third prize for each category, plus the award for best presentation, with gifts donated by different establishments in El Algar.
BOLILLO MEETING IN ALGAR
Within the program of festivities of El Algar will take place on Thursday, September 8, the V Meeting of Bolillo and Embroidery, organized by the Association of Housewives of the town.
Will take place from five in the afternoon at the Meson Restaurante Marin and is expected to attend the Mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, and the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
