Saturday September 10, participants of Scipio Hannibal versus activity, the battle continues, will take place at 11.00 hours at the Roman Theatre, will also enjoy the battle for the conquest of Qart Hadast recreating on board.
The activity, aimed at the whole family, is to acquaint participants with the most important events of the Second Punic War and its protagonists, Hannibal and Scipio, as well as one of the most emblematic of the Roman city buildings, the Roman Theatre , who rose under Augustus.
Thus, children will be part of a troop or legion, and celebrate the triumph in the Roman Theatre in Cartagena, for which clothing for the setting will be given.
But participants on Saturday will also enjoy the recreation of the socket Qart Hadast on board.
It will involve 400 Romans and Carthaginians 100 legionnaires, some parts armies 2.8 centimeters, which recreate the siege of the Roman legions under General Scipio and the Carthaginian garrison defending the fortified city from its walls.
All these parts and strategy game is the work of Gerardo Gonzalez and Diego Peñalver Legion IV of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans.
The authors are all Saturday morning, from 10,00 to 14,00h, showing visitors the Battle on board, in the temporary exhibition hall of the Museum free of charge.
