Last September 4th deadline to register over the short films in the 45th edition of International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC), to be held from November 27 to December 3, 2016 with the sponsorship of the City of Cartagena.
This year were over 400 entries received to participate in the festival.
To participate in MURcine, FICC section dedicated to the filmmakers of our region have signed up twenty short, while the rest of the work belong to the Official Short Film Section, section welcomes both domestic and foreign short.
The selected films will be announced in late October, will be screened during the festival week and compete for $ 3,000 with the Best Short Film of the Official Section where, in addition, there will be awards for best direction, photography is rewarded and script.
On the other hand, in the MURcine section, the first prize Silver Caravel City of Cartagena will be 1,500 euros, while the second, the Submarino Peral, shall be EUR 500.
