Thus, members of the same have been discussed and agreed the first contents of the articles of that regulation, which always remains under the Regional Protection Act and protection of pets.
Therefore, we continue outlining the draft regulations, with reference to the other cities that have already established an adequate and effective ordinance, like Barcelona or Zaragoza.
The contents emerging from the work of the Bureau of Animal Welfare shall pass to the study of municipal legal services, who, once revised, the text sent to the Bureau for it to continue drafting and agreeing appropriate approval.
The Bureau of Animal Welfare, made up of local police, Seprona, UNED, UPCT, CATAD, College of Veterinary, animal welfare, legal, technicians of the Department of Health, Council services and representatives of all political groups of the Corporation municipal, it meets monthly and operates through two teams: I one focused on legal aspects and the second aimed at designing prevention work and educational campaigns, present initiatives for discussion, design and implementation programs and activities, among other issues.
