The festivities of La Aparecida, in honor of the Virgin of Charity, began last Saturday, September 3, giving the go-ahead to an extensive program which will run until Sunday 11th.
The opening speech of the town came from the hand of the council of Celebration, Juan Pedro Torralba, followed with the coronation of queens and mises and popular dance with the Duo Minerva, Jesus Guzman and artist Maria Jose Lorente.
The ceremony was also attended by the Councillor for Citizen Security, Francisco Aznar.
Torralba said in his opening speech the worker and dedicated to agriculture and livestock of La Aparecida character: Your families have managed to inculcate the love of work and your land.
You are people who through hard work, struggle and perseverance have known and know how to overcome everyday problems, said the mayor, reminding turn excellent sausages that characterize the town.
The festival program continues in the coming days with talent shows, theater, children's activities and musical performances, geared for all audiences in these celebrations in honor of his patron.
