The residents of La Manga enjoy five days of festivities between 14 and 18 September.
These celebrations are organized by the Association of Residents of La Manga with the collaboration of laConcejalía Celebrations of the City of Cartagena, among other institutions.
The president of the Neighborhood Association, Luisa Maria Aznar, stressed that this year the central theme of the celebrations will remind and claim all the benefits of the Mar Menor.
Neighborhood Association wanted this year to organize a program of leisure activities that would be innovative without losing the essence of the neighborhood and fellowship that reigns in these celebrations since the early years.
Next Wednesday, September 14, at 21:00 hours will be held the opening speech of the festival of La Manga which will be borne by Isabel Belmonte, president of the association of women Virgen del Mar in Cabo de Palos.
Elparking of Bohemia Square is the place where booths will be installed and where you can enjoy local cuisine and varied musical performances from Gospel to flamenco fusion, through a sample of Cuban music.
In the varied program of leisure activities include a concentration of motorcycles Vespas, Saturday 17, after which a route is made to the lighthouse of Cabo de Palos and other Harleys Davidson, Sunday 18, recorreráLa Manga to the lighthouse Estacio.
In addition, children can enjoy inflatables, drawings and crafts workshops that have different themes such as the Mar Menor, La Wars and Manga drawings.
Another novelty will be the Survivor contest, a paradise between two seas, which will test a representative from each booth to demonstrate their skills.
In the celebrations of La Manga will also be a highlight for the residents who will participate in several performances as a display of rhythmic gymnastics by girls in the Sports Pavilion of the coastal town place.
